In the highly respected "Science News Letter" of 22nd April, 1961, it says, "The Moon is like a HOLLOW sphere, heavier on the outside than on the inside, according to the data from the Vanguard satellite and theories about the Moon."

Joke or no joke, the moon turns but as it turns, it always shows the same side toward earth as I understand it.
