We are on a rock speeding through space. Altogether they say, at around a million miles an hour! What with the Earth's spin, orbit around the Sun, and the whole solar system traveling in the spinning galaxy. Which itself orbits the center's black hole.
Theory is that this solar system which the Earth abides in, itself is spinning around a second binary star, other than our Sun.
