A buttercup belonged
(eternity in the heart)

It opened
It battled with the sun
it's mellow-
the beautiful of yellow

birth of spring-

our memories
the dewdrops
the settle

the next flower
you will see
you will be reminded

when it's gone
our love still shines on

:hug2:

My soul likes your poems, there is so much life in them.
And today is a very special day. For 6 weeks I've not seen the sun, today I basked in its light for 15 minutes. It felt heavenly! :hug3:

What a darling little poem.

I remember how my mom would take a buttercup and hold it under our chin, there was some saying that went along with it, because the buttercup's bright yellow surface is so reflective, idk can't remember what the saying was!

Love that song btw, kleenex!
