i work a little deeper. this morning i resolved to do the dishes and vacuum. for me, a resolution is hard work. that is why new years is my favorite holiday. i look back and plan a better future and a better me.

a resolution is hard workDecades ago I overcame my black hole phase of life by making a resolution to wake up each morning with joy in my heart and appreciation for this incarnation state we call life. It was the easiest thing to do, I recognized it as my obligation to my higher self and this benevolent universe. Resolutions can be as simple as saying "Good morning!" each day; very easy, very effective, very deep results.

Exactly, my favourite is " I will enjoy every breath I take "

Exactly, my favourite is " I will enjoy every breath I take "Very nice, but that one wouldn't work for me, I'd have The Police playing in my head the rest of the day!

Exactly, my favourite is " I will enjoy every breath I take " I like that..it's easy...like gently re-placing the needle on a record
if my focus gets distracted.
I add to that that it's my birthday every day...but, the day of my birthday,
see, I allow every single movement I make to be what I want to do
and feel. It's MY day. :hug3:
If I want to stay in bed reading till noon, ok
If I want to get up at dawn (it's in the summer!) and drive to Sante Fe...
or hike at 7500 ft altitude, ok.
If I want to have breakfast, lunch and dinner with friends, ok...
....it's amazing how treating each day as your special day that you allow
yourself to really enjoy to the fullest ...changes your whole perspective...
that this is how it's supposed to be!
Everyday your personal special DAY! :icon_cheers:
It's funny how you notice you become a magnet to people...
they sense the fun in you or something...for those that
have issues with depression and relationships...try it...
Loving yourself is very powerful and very attractive.
I like resolutions that you really put your mind to each day...
very powerful!
