[CENTER]Siren of the Desert
Calling out to me
Queen of desolation
Spirit set me free...

I saw her standing in the desert
Starlight gleaming in her eyes
Sandstorm patterns swirling

The original poem was just 3 verses long, then quickly grew to 10 verses.

A few months later I went back to it and added the last 3 verses at the end... after being "inspired" by the death of someone I'd just started to get to know.

This was a few years ago now. Time has certainly gone fast!
