Hi,

I do apologise if I have posted this in the wrong place. I have also posted in the ESP section as well.

This is a bit of a long story but I will attempt to keep it as short as I can.

Basically my cat had a litter of kittens a couple of years ago now and as I am a huge cat lover I was particularly sad about having to let them all go and also extremely concerned about the task of making sure they went to people that would give them fantastic loving homes.

We ended up giving one to a couple that my husband knows, however at the time they actually told us it was for his partners (now ex partner) mother. I told my husband that I hoped they wouldn't end up keeping the kitten for themselves as I wasn't sure they would give him the kind of home that I felt he needed. I was assured that this wouldn't happen, however after initally giving them the kitty to take to her mothers as per agreed I heard a couple of weeks later that they were going to keep him!! To say I was upset about this would be somewhat of an understatement.

It turned out that the couple split up not long after and the kitty stayed with his ex partner and young daughter.

My husband is still in touch with his friend and was worryingly told a few days ago that his ex parter moved house not long ago and they let the cat out straight away and he must have got lost and is still missing three weeks later.

I have been feeling so sad about this as I found out that they havent even bothered to try and find him or put any posters up in the area.

I helped deliver the kitties and spent so much time with them that I feel like I still have a connection with him and I just want to do all I can to help find him myself. I also feel so guilty that he perhaps didn't have such a great home.

We have even been to the area where he went missing in the hope that we might find him, but obviously three weeks have now passed and he could be anywhere or even have passed away as we have had terribly freezing cold weather over this time period.

I have tried to attach a picture of him (not a great one but the only one I have of him) however it does not appear to let me, his names Beau. I was just wondering if there are any mediums here that might be able to tune in with his energy to see if it may help locate him? If you think you might be able to then please PM me and I will send the pic to you.

Sorry it's a bit long winded.

Many thanks
xx

Oh, the poor darling. I am a huge cat lover myself (and animal lover in general) so I understand how you feel.

Cats can vanish for weeks and turn up again safe and sound. When the owner moved, did they move far away? Because I would say that if it is within a mile or two, the cat is probably more likely to turn up at the address he moved from than the address he moved to.

I wish I could be of more help. I once tried to find one of my mother's cats who went missing, but I don't think I have the right kind of skills required. I can communicate with spirit well, and a little with animals, though I am utterly unpracticed in that area. All I could glean from the cat herself was that she couldn't find her way home but was OK (she did turn up fine a couple of days later) and my efforts to gain more information were unsuccessful. There are psychics who specialise in this kind of thing, but even for those who manage to gather more information, their impressions tend to be vague and I think you would have more success if you can find someone with psychic ability and also familiarity with your local area - simply because someone at a distance might get a visual impression but have no idea what or where they were looking at.

I don't know if my post is of any use, but I do hope you find him.

hi lottiex,

I am sorry to hear about your lost kitten. I am thinking an animal communicator might be of help to you, to find your kitten.

Perhaps if you make a post, something like " looking for an animal communicator " you might find one on the forum. Then you could tell them about the lost kitten and perhaps they could help you.

I am not exactly sure what part of the forum you might put this in, let me take a quick look and see
Not exactly sure where would be best ? Nature - Animals or Lounge ? or perhaps someone else has an idea ?

blessings,
Dream Angel xx

Thanks for your replies  .

Westleigh, the owners moved about 5 miles away from their previous house so I don't think he would be able to make it back that far. When we looked for him the other day I noticed there is a huge forest at the back of the houses so I am wondering if perhaps he has made his way in there.

I was a little naughty and put a couple of posters up myself asking if anyone has seen a lost black cat. I don't want to appear that I am interferring as I know he's technically not my cat anymore, however I have been so choked up at the thought of him being out there somewhere on his own and knowing that his owners have not bothered about him I just felt like I had to try and do something to help him.

I will certainly try asking for an animal communicator Dream Angel. It sounds like a good idea.

It would be lovely to think that he has made his way to a house that loves cats and will give him a good home.

I'm not sure how to help you find, I just visiualised a black cat instantly though near a picket-kind of fence sitting at night time. Just my imagination I'm sure ..

Best of luck.

...... I'm not sure how to respond to that, I scanned through your posts on here quickly to see if you wrote black and didn't see you writing any fact of what color it is .... but I really feel I won't do you much help I just hope ......... all I can feel right now is that you're living in a warm climate area ..... ? I might be sounding a little crazy .... but it's just what I'm visualising where this black cat is. You don't live surrounded by buildings near, like in the city, is the area you live in small everything is very close knit ? it feels like your cat isnt that far ........... I am no psychic though .... ahhhhhh:(

Having lost an animal before, I would say that you should definintely start with shelters, vets and pet shops for finding him. Ask the neighbours, put leaflets through the doors etc.

If you have no luck finding a communicator here, you could try searching on the web. There are a couple of threads about animal communicators who may be able to help but there may be a fee required for service.

Hope you find him. cesx

Just to let you know I have found a wonderful lady that works with animals ona psychic level and she is helping me to locate Beau. she had even given me the street names of the areas she believes he has been to and could be in now. Interestingly this area is about a couple of miles from where he went missing and at the time she did not know this. In the time frame he has been missing he could well have travelled that far.

A strange thing happend today. After I recieved her email giving me lots of useful info she had mangaged to link into from his photo I went along to those areas which were all quite close to each other and I took lots of posters with me.
As I was driving I got this really strong smell of car pee (LOL) and I just thought to myself wouldnt it be funny if this was a sign hes nearby, well literally 10 seceonds later a black cat ran front of my car! I couldnt beleive it.
I stopped the car and made way for where he was and I called his name. He was looking each time I called him. He was a little shy at first but I coaxed him over and he let me make a fuss of him. I then picked him up and unfortunatly he struggled and got down and ran off! (wish I had thought and taken a pic of him on my phone).
The sad thing is I could not be 100% sure if this was him (remember I have not seen him since he was a kitten). It certainly felt like it could be him though.
I knocked on the door of the house that was by me and I asked the guy if he had noticed any strays in the area and he said there were quite a few cats living around the area and he knew a couple were black. He said one was very big, almost panther like so I know this is not Beau. He said the house over the road had a black cat so I went over to check if this cat could have been theirs but unfortunately they were out. The guy I spoke to said he will let me know if he sees any black cats and will call his name to see if he responds to it. I don't want to be making off with someone elses cat unknowingly!

I have now put plenty of posters up in the area so hopefully somebody will see it. I will also go back at the weekend with my husband as he saw Beau more recently than me so hopefully he would know if it was him if he did show up.

I have also notified the vets and animal shelters in the area as well.

I will certainly keep you posted.

xx

Sorry, I know this is quite an old thread but for those of you that had replied to my post I just wanted to tell you that the Beau the cat was found safe and well. He had managed to survive for nearly 3 months in the freezing cold. He was terrified and confused and he wouldnt let anybody near him but a lady had been feeding him every day for quite some time and she agreed to let us put a humane cat trap down in her garden. It didn't take lomg before we caught him. We were so relieved!
