This is of the utmost importance that we follow the SF Rule on Suicide threads or comments made in the Chat Room. This is a very serious matter that "no one on SF is trained professionally to handle" so we do not allow such discussions on site.
There are many reasons for this first of all the site could become liable for what the outcome might be with someone in crisis if it is not handled in the very serious and professional way it must be handled.
We are not trained to handle such matters, and we can not have the site responsible for what members might say to the person in crisis in open or PM Mode on site. SF is a spiritual discussion site not a Hot Line.
If you hear of any member in this place in their life path please bring it to a member of the SF Staff even if its in PM mode that you receive this information and we will do our best to guide them to the help that they need.
Failure to report this to us can lead us to remove members accounts as this is a very serious matter that effects the site directly. We are not being cold we are being proactive to protect everyone from legal actions that can and do come along members and hots of sites.

Suicide Posts: Most members of Spiritual Forums do not have the necessary training to respond to those who are considering suicide and may even with the best of intentions say something that could negatively affect someone in that state of mind. These posts also can negatively affect anyone struggling with depression who reads them. So we cannot in good conscience allow discussions about a member's suicidal ideas to remain on the forums. If you are having suicidal thoughts, please contact someone who is properly trained to respond to these matters.
