Not sure if it is okay to ask, please remove thread if not okay...

Does anyone here belong to the Ananda organisation? Since I am relatively new to this spiritual path, I do love reading and listening to what this organisation has to say, and would dearly love like-minded people to connect with, in order to help me along my path of dropping the ego. More importantly, guides to help me progress in a more positive way.

Bless, love and light :hug3:

Trying to get rid of the ego, inflates the ego.
The person in harmony with the Tao ignores the ego,
as compassion immerses him in the eternal flow of the Tao.

When I think of the Ananda Org...I think of Swami Kriyananda, Donald...Paramahansa's direct
devotee that passed 2 years ago April in Italy, right?
It's a wonderful organization.

Anand or ananda means bliss....for those outta the Eastern
lingo spiritual loop!!!
Diff Indian dialects say it differently. Tomato/tomahto

Like many groups...SRF did some legal rangling ... it is hard bec they want
to hang onto the pure teachings
of Yogananda.
Nothing wrong with that ...but Kriyananda had personal agya, or direction to
do what he did!
My God, he sat with Yogananda and wrote out the entire Bhagavad Gita
according to the commentaries of Yogananda, himself...plus, much MORE!!!

Here: http://www.ananda.org/

Part of the legal settlement was he/they must spell it as Paramhansa...minus an "a".

I always think of Ananda being the Buddhas right hand man for over 40 years, but not realizing enlightenment until after the Buddhas death.
