Hello

I use aromatherapy for many things in my life. It is helpful in Chakra balancing, but certainly not required. Practice what feels right and comfortable to you. Our Chakras are always open to some degree, it is more a matter of keeping them clear of negative energy. This energy can be internal or external. I suggest using visualization during meditation to "see" each Chakra, see the blocked energy, and see them becoming clearer & brighter.

In peace..Lilybugs

I don't really think any have opened them up,just correlated with particular chakras and aided in activating. I like sandalwood or cedarwood for root chakra. Orange oil for 2nd chakra. Lemon oil or ylang ylang for solar plexus. Rose oil for heart chakra. Peppermint for throat. Lavender for third eye. Frankincense for crown chakra. Out of all the oils,i'm not a big peppermint fan truth be told. I don't think i'll be getting any of that again. The lemon oil smelled happy but felt kind of weak, though it could've been the brand i had for that particular oil. I found ylang ylang much better for solar plexus.
