Runes

Hello fellows
I was just curious as to how many people here use Runes periodically, and how they originally got started. I've been interpreting Runes for about three years now. I have a wide variety of different sets, spanning from crystals, to wood, stone and bone. How were you introduced to them and how have they effected your life?

I use the Tarot cards as a tool for showing people the pathways which are open to them, but I also occasionally use runes. They really are an enormously powerful tool of divination. I have used both stones(picked up individually) and wood to create my sets. I came across them when I first started reading up on mythology and was immediately drawn to them- their power is almost tangible.They have brought me great comfort and have helped me to make decisions, so I would say they've had a very beneficial effect on my life and on the lives of those I have helped with their assistance. Runes rock.
