The quantum mind or quantum consciousness is a protoscientific hypothesis that posits a connection between consciousness, neurobiology, and quantum mechanics. There are many gaps in current understanding of the functioning of the human brain and especially how it gives rise to consciousness. The quantum mind hypothesis claims that only quantum mechanics is capable of explaining conscious experience.

I have been reading about quantum physics and I think that it is mind blowing, kind of like being a child again and staring in wonderment at something magical and incomprehensible all at the same time.

In particular, the way that experiments have borne out the theory of interconnectedness. Experiments have shown that particles that originate from a single source behave as if they have maintained a connection despite the passing of time or the existence of great distances between them. When something changes in one, the other follows suit, virtually instantaneously!

Since all matter comes from a single source - the Big Bang, all matter in the world must behave at some level as an inseperable whole.

Some quantum physicists now say that "each part of the universe contains all of the information present in the entire cosmos itself (similar to a giant oak tree producing an acorn that contains all the information to replicate itself)."

Interconnectedness also helps to explain mind over matter, telepathy and prayer.

As for the existence of different dimensions - Quantum physics predicts this too :smile: , but that's another story!
