Have you ever heard about the story on the below link?

I found it very divine.
A girl being saved and protected by lions from a forced marriage.
Perhaps it was an intervention by the universe....

No, I hadn't heard about it before but I find it very interesting. Animals are amazing aren't they.

I hadn't seen this, either. Lions are often dismissed as "wild beasts", but in reality they only kill to eat - like many humans do - and have quite sophisticated social structures. I'm sure that in future years research will be carried out into their thought waves, their emotional reactions to non-food situations. Way too much attention has been paid to their strategies as hunters, and almost none to their behaviour the rest of the time.

Remember the story of Androcles and the lion? Or the two boys who raised a lion as a cub and later met him as an adult, with great affection on both sides? (I can't remember where I read about this, but I think it was on this forum). The truth is that lions have quite a strong sense of loyalty, especially to those who have helped them, befriended them or show vulnerability without fear. The lions must have sensed this girl's vulnerability and the aggression of the men - and decided to protect her.

Further to my last post, I have found the case of the lion remembering his two human companions: See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jo4tH7tdw1w
