reiki newbie question

I got my first reiki session a few weeks ago. The healer was a

reki/psychic/medium intuitive healer. During session she traced a symbol on

my forehead that felt like a spiral and circles. Just wondering, is this normal

in reiki? What do the symbols mean?

It sounds like the cho ku rei which is the reiki power symbol and the symbol is drawn over the client at the start and end of a reiki session, so all perfectly normal.
