A gifted surgeon had a great deal of patience.
He was talented and wise, but something was missing.
One day while performing Open Heart Surgery something was different.
He did not know what.
He watched a heart stop and then start and stop again.
He could not help this poor man lying on the table.
He stopped trying....
He gave up!
He surrendered to the Divine Being which is in all life.
He said "I am powerless to help this man!!"
Then he murmured "God bless him" as he took off his surgical gown and walked away.
The mortician was called to collect the corpse.
He came and put the body in a bag and took him to a refrigeration chamber.
The next day as he prepared to do his autopsy......
A hand grabbed his hand which was about to cut into the dead man.
It was the dead man but he was not dead!
He said "I was Blessed! I am not dead. My heart was healed when someone said God Bless him."
An open heart is the quickest way to transformation, to Awakening, to The Holy Spirit, to Christ, to SELF, to NO SELF...........whatever the name matters not, an open heart is still the quickest way.
