cats - what do they see !!!

Ive been told by a medium that my mum who has passed is using my cats to alert me of her presence and it will become aparent when she is here. I have noticed one of my cats purring for no reason sitting alone and staring behind me then into my eyes, while her ear is twitching. Shes been more loving than usual aswell.

Do you think cats sense or actually see my mum ??? Do you think cats understand messages? Ive also heard cats are telepathic so if you send message in mind to them to hear it. Thoughts ???

I think many animals are sensitive to subtle energies. I think they are more open to those things than humans, on average.
Also they can be very telepathic. There are many occasions of dogs especially, jumping up from their beds and going to sit by the door to await their Human's return from work....when their Human has only just left work, and is nowhere near home!

This actually happened once with a dog I had some years ago. He was very fond of a friend of mine. One day he started barking excitedly and making 'greeting' sounds at the door. The same fuss he made when my friend visited. Ten minutes later -my friend arrived! It took him 10 minutes to drive to my place from town where he lived. And I realised my dog had started barking when my friend left home! (there were no other triggers to make him behave like that, at the time)

Yes it's likely your cat will know if you are being visited by a loving spirit like your mum. But I think you could also know! You will sense her character and probably her affection for you when she visits! It's not so hard to do. You are capable of sensing her presence, I am sure.

I do feel like I can, I think she touches my arm also. Ive smelt her perfume and cigarrette smoke too. My cat is acting strange as I write this staring at me.

My dog when I was a teenager used to pine for my mum 10 mins before my mum came home from work. I always knew when she was on her way. It was great when I was a teenager for a bit of warning lol xxx

My other dog who I had years ago was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and the vet said he didn't have very long to live. Yet he was doing ok in many ways, so we had a last couple of weeks together.
One night, he suddenly began to stare out into the room, following something (I couldn't see) with his eyes, which must have been moving beyond my ability to see. He was so fascinated, and kept watching, then got up from his bed, started wagging his tail, and making all his 'greeting' noises. He looked so well -nose wet, eyes shining. He wasn't interested when I spoke to him, all he wanted was to pay attention to this unseen "thing" in the room. This continued for a few minutes.

Now when I look back on that night, I am convinced he saw someone who had come to meet him, to take him through to the spirit world. He passed two days after that.

Aww, Tobi, this gave me the goosebumps all over my arms and legs, a clear indication of a 'truth' from spirit....this is how I am shown a spiritual truth....and i wanted to cry......been like this for about a year now.....thank you for the beautiful story.......i have a birman cat, who senses spirit when it is close......if its not so friendly, he growls and full on hisses...even when i can see nothing.....and he senses Angels too....ive seen him look above me or to my side and up........the other cats have done this as well....but im more in tune with my Birman, i sometimes think he is a familiar to me.....many blessings to you x...

Shelld24 - I'm sure cats are telepathic, I've talked before about my cat, she sits and stares just over my shoulder and will pat my arm, she does this mainly at night. I know she sees something.

My mum used to live in a flat over a pub, we thought there was a spirit there. Heard wispering, felt nudges and a presence. My mums dog used to sit in the hall for hours staring at the same spot near the roof. After her dog passed she got one of my cats Kittens (ive since got her back) The kitten used to stare at the same spot in the hall too.

Sometimes feels like cats know something we dont eh xxx

the night after my son passed, i was laying in his bed and my cat was sitting next to me.

i then saw him walk along the wall. i noticed my cat following him with her eyes and turning her head following him til he disappeared.

i know she saw him too-cats are very energy sensitive.

Did anyone see - the secret lives of cats on tv the other day. Aparently cats senses are 30x better than ours and they can see ultraviolet !! Another sign they see colours we cant.

Ive noticed my cat looking at something moving in my kitchen and following movement with her eyes when its just us. I can sense its my mum, can feel it.

Also was talking to my neighbours the other day. They were saying when they were standing talking about someone who had recently passed a group of cats were surrounding them staring like 'they knew what was happening and could sense something' - reminded me of this thread x

the night my son passed, we came home from the hospital and i lay down in my son's bed.

my cat was sitting by my head. suddenly i saw my son walking along the length of the bedroom. i also noticed my cat's eyes get big, and she turned her head, following him too.

I have experienced the same things with dogs.
The understanding of a message is not so much as a string of words, but as a knowing.
My experience tells me that telepathic messages laced with unconditional love become quickly received.

I think cats are quite clever. Now I'm more of a 'dog person' to be honest, but had this happen once with a cat:
I am looking after a cat for a neighbour. One day she didn't turn up when I went to socialise with her and feed her. I thought nothing of it, but she wasn't there the second day either, or even that evening. Then I began to worry. That night I dreamed very vividly about her, and she was trotting along the driveway, coming to meet me from a certain direction in the bushes beside the path. I 'heard' her say "I'm fine! What are you worried about?"

So the next morning I went to the house....and guess what? She came trotting along the driveway from that bush, exactly as I had seen her in the dream.
I honestly do feel she was busy, loving every moment, but sensed my concern, and answered me!! And I got it through a dream.

It's heartening to read the posts of animal lovers.

Cats are aware of higher frequency's compared to humans. They can sense, hear and also see higher frequency's. Perception is in part control by what frequencies you are aware off, like radio stations there all invisible until you some how become aware of them through tapping into them through Radio or TV. Us humans only see visible lights, Cats can see ultraviolet light spectrum.

Most humans only are aware of low frequency's, so that's how we see our world. When in reality there are many other frequency's in the Universe. Frequency's are bands of information that we decode, and then it helps us increase are awareness or change are perceptions.

I think humans have the ability to also see things like this, and that's the whole point of increasing our awareness and embracing certain abilities that get ignored in the academic system! and society! But apparently this spiritual movements, is in part spark by new frequency's and vibrations hitting earth. Some people say its from the sun, from the black hole, or from alien civilizations that apparently see that we are completely messed up haha but i don't think people should worry about the complexities too much.

They have done programs where they try and figure out what cats see, but remember we are watching videos from our perception! not a cats perception. What we see is created and projected from our minds, from its perception.

Animals probably see allot more than we think, as they have not been subjected to rigid conditioning through schooling systems haha and naturally animals like cats for example, which our science has proven they already know they can tap into higher frequency bands.

You should read about the moon.

You only have to look at the history of Christianity or whatever during the med evil times. They specifically targeted physic women, and cats.

And there was a reason why those people done that.
