I'm generally an intutive person if i have a strong feeling something is wrong or going on should i listen to my intuiton or try to think postive? will thinking postive make this negative situation go away? I try and think postive but things go wrong when i think negative and release those feelings things will go my way.. lol i don't know why this happens? my energy is backwards or something lol

Can you give an example? Like are you saying you feel something bad is going to happen so you then start to think positive to go away? Is that your question?
I think the more you think "oh something bad is going to happen" yeah I think it could happen. Are you generally rigth about things that happen when you feel they may?

like just an example i try to think postive this person will respond to me and they don't lol then when i think oh they will never call me again, they call.. lol

sometimes i am right sometimes wrong.. idk it might be my emotions that are coloring my thinking though

you're too worried about outcomes in my opinion. I think that you should just leave it in the laps of the Gods like "okay god I really want this person to respond to me and I leave it in your lap" it doesn't have to be god it could be the universe, goddess, jesus whoever you have a spiritual affinity with or for.

Hope that makes sense.

In one of the Esther and Jerry Hicks books there is a really good quote that I think will be relevant to you "You don't cover an empty gas tank with a smiley face." It's something along the lines of that!

I think the idea of positive thinking isn't to just cover up negative thoughts with something positive but to release negativity or view it differently. So using things like EFT will dispel the negative instead of simply covering it which may result in it coming out in undesirable ways.

I hope I answered your question. Sophie xx

The reason most people do this is because it’s reassuring to fall back into patterns which we have been taught before. In fact, it can almost seem comforting at times.

The thing about positive thinking is that, it isn’t necessarily ‘true,’ and nor is negative thinking or fear…..but thinking makes it so. In other words, you get what you most believe in.

Positivity seems delusional when something hasn’t worked, but with gentle persistence, positivity becomes ‘truer’ because it is getting more and more accepted (subliminal registered) by your mind. When this happens, you then attract realities, synchronicities and evidence so that it begins to appear real (and by definition, far less delusional).

Any belief, be it positive or negative can be made ‘real’ by frequent repetition and reinforcement.
