Candles are an important part of altars and ceremonies, but all the Wiccans I have met love fire in all it's forms. They are jokingly deemed 'pyros' and seem to coax flame where others cannot (myself included).
Is this true for you guys as well, or am I seeing what I want to see?

I think its a case of each to thier own! I have to say that i love fire but i love water! I alsways have and i think i always will. I have never tried to coax flame as i am very new to Wicca ill have a look in one of my books and see if i can find anything more about it :)

Fire, one of the basic elements, is associated with the spirit, the will, and creativity. It is the most "emotional" element.
Like LostGirl, my element is Water is obvious if you looked through my Photobucket account.
I suppose in a ceremonial role, Fire is the most "alive" element.

I didnt think about what my element is until i read this post, but looking back through my life i love water. I went to the beach one day with my parents and I spent 6 hours sitting in the water...i came out blue but it was awesome!
