I don't know anything about the spiritual side of it, but I have pretty extreme adult ADHD so I can recommend a few of the tricks I've picked up along the way. A combination of rhodiola rosea and phosphatidyl serine helps a lot. Unlike medications, those substances are good for the brain. Meditation is an excellent tool. Blue lotus tea helps. I discovered my symptoms are amplified by food intolerances, namely gluten.

I would really like to know about spiritual methods of healing ADHD. I have a neurochemical problem which results in low dopamine levels in my brain, and this gives me the symptoms of ADHD, along with worse symptoms.

Greetings Everyone:

If this person is currently under the care of a physician and taking medication--please be sure to talk to their doctor--before changing their regiment in any way.

Certain Herbs, Roots, Botanicals, and even foods can have an adverse effect with medication.

As for the Spiritual side--things like Yoga, Tai Chi, and Meditation could be helpful--if this person is willing to practice--sitting still and focusing will be very difficult.

Peace and Love on everyone's path to total healing...

Blessed be...

Maybe read or listen to Utube clips by people like Eckharte Tolle's "A New Earth". Understanding you aren't the mind and that the mind actually can be controlled is really helpful.

Yes, it would be extremely difficult because ADHD is Attention Deficiit Hyperactivity Disorder ...
Tolle's book acutally restates a few well established theories regarding responses w/a twist on the "ego" being the culprit, however, he does not address the organic ...
What is lacking is studies/information regarding spiritual growth from automatic organic brain chemistry changes during grief, physical & some emotional pain we all have or yet to experience/suffer to further our progress/growth process/maturation ...
Thinking in terms of the living in present momemt is good to keep us grounded during certain times, but in reality during a life shattering event all people try to escape those moments by looking to be out of the situtation causing immense pain ...

I would suggest surfing the web for calming techniques for those w/ADHD to help w/focusing on an activity ...
Diet is very important as stated above - my nurse friend came to learn her son's high gluten diet contributed to her adolescent son's ADHD after he tried to suffocate a kitten - it somehow prevented him from stopping ...
You will also want to consult their doctor about any herbal teas/remedies in conjunction w/particular med ...
I came to learn from a specialist in pharmacology during a review of my meds that St. John's Wart combined w/my diabetic med could have caused a heart attach & was the cause of high blood pressure symptoms ...
The symptoms quickly went away after I stopped its use ...
Fortunately, I never did use the high blood pressure medication that was prescribed ...
May precautions to remember, however, I do commend you for your efforts & thoughts of others ...
Good luck!

Was adding Tolle` or other such speakers in addition to diet, supplements, exercise etc.
It's unlikely ADHD has a 'one pill' cure and instead needs a multi-pronged approach to reach some sense of containment.

I would have been diagnosed with ADHD and slapped on meds in a heart beat if it had of been in-vogue in schools for disruptive hyper kids in the late 70's. I can still be like that if I want, however I find ruling the brain to be more effective than being the victim of it.
Don't doubt that we can do anything we set our Intention to and put our full will power into.
