Aw! Poor ghosts!
Some ghosts are ok. They're not all mean. Sometimes I've been a ghost. (when I've been out of body) Well if anyone had seen me they might have thought I was a ghost! My dog was one for a little while, and she has such a lovely Soul. She just didn't want to leave home for a bit when she left physical life.

They should be treated just as you would have treated them when they were alive. They were people once and deserve some respect. It sounds like you have the church/hollywood ideas about spirits. I doubt herbs and incense will chase them away.

You should feel blessed to be able to see them. They may be trying to tell you something.
