......Latin for... 'I no longer fear'.
Its a strange coincidence that the English letter 'I' is associated with the word ego in Latin !!!
Its also alarming to see the word 'terror' in the same sentence as 'ego'.
Could this be 'ego terror'.
It Sends shivers down my spine

Hmm you bring up a good point. Perhaps when they say let go of your ego, what they mean is let go of your fears...release the ego release the fears.

I took years of diff languages...I get them mixed up now.
Are you positive this is how it is written in Latin?
It didn't look right to me...but it's been a longtime.

I no longer have fear...but I remember when I did...ha!
It was like a separate entity...not "me"...I told it to scram...it got bored with
me...I wouldn't play with it....

"Be not afraid...Have no fear...Fear not...Do not worry...Be anxious for nothing ...
Cast your cares...I listened to my Teacher.
And it worked.

the ego is a great teacher, it shows us what we are not, its also well adapted to live in this world so it is needed, in saying that we can quite happily live with it as a back seat driver, while we are driven on our wisdom

here a poem about fear

You hear your fear, its drawing near
You turn to run and hide
many times has this been done
throughout your entire life.
Now the mind is tired and weary
with being on the run
the ego is deflated finding running not much fun
you stop and turn to see your fear
its running very fast.
You realise its not stopping
as its heading for a crash
You stand there boldly waiting
for it to end your life
You feel as though your dieing
as it cuts through like a knife
You see it passing through you
and your fear it does go
You sit there in stunned wonder
What did you just go through

Not to be picky, bec I like your point.

But this made more sense to me
Timeo non amplius.
(I fear no longer.)

You conjugate the verbs like I fear, you fear, he she it fears and have one word I remember.
Now I feel like I'm raining on your parade, I didn't mean to, sorry.

Well, we just have so much power!
Fear, worry, doubt don't exist to me anymore.
It is freedom...I forget until I talk to someone or read here...they really
are quite small steps....the big ones come next...ha!
But when they are conquered they seem small, also...the Veil...the invisible non-existent
Paper chains seem to be the last barrier.
They are illusion, yet the Mind makes them real...they are there, but they aren't ...
Its so hard to conquer something that isn't even REAL!

you are perfectly free to express yourself, in fact you make a very good point here....

perspective.
the fact you feel more comfortable with a different point of view is never to be discouraged but embraced, it opens the heart to self enquiry and shows all sides to life are important

thank you

Could you explain what you mean by the Veil and the 'non-existent paper chains?'
