Hello Nevair,
Check out this website: http://www.williamccchen.com/
If I lived in New York city I would train with William C. Chen. His Tai Chi training center is at: 1 East 28th Street 7th floor (buzzer # 11) on the corner of 5th Avenue. The class schedules can be obtained at the above web site. Mr. Chen is known throughout the world and his Tai Chi is above excellent as are his applications of his Tai Chi in actual Combat. And I am sure Mr. Chen can also teach you Qi gong. His e-mail address is: [email protected]
Best of Luck,
Saint Seraphim

There are many benefits, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
Improved health, more peace of mind, feeling better, being grounded. A little bit of googling will give you more details.

It's also good for raising kundalini energy and is a more grounded form of energetic healing in comparison to reiki etc

Greetings..

look for a book called Falun Gong, it may help it covers various aspects meditation and energy shunting.
After several attempts at Falun Gong (Falun Dafa), i find that Li Hongzi's messages outweigh any benefits that might be perceived from the practice.. Li's books are not based on sound principles, and have the indications of a man in search of his cult.. but, read them yourselves, and let me know how you feel.. as always, i am only one perspective..

Be well..

I suggest the DVD called elements Tai Chi for biginners, they have the Qi Gong section that last under 15 minutes and then the Tai Chi. I found it in Amazon.ca
for under 12 dollars. Its easy to do and it take away anxiety and helps you relax and focus.

I've never yet done it in a group, but expect it might be interesting.
It's a great way to get grounded, and out of one's head-thoughts, before sleep.
Even a short session.
IMO

great to do in nature whenever possible
