Watch the closing ceremony of the Paralympics tonight.

Featured are solstice celebrations, Glastonbury, Stonehenge. Also the overall theme is Calling the Quarters - Earth, Fire, Air, Water.
Even the Olympic flame ceremonies [of both games] were pagan in nature.

Opens to public in October, Hazel. Looking at the images on the net, I'm not sure about what you see at ground level - the figure is so big that you will only see bits. Seems to me that it is meant be to viewed from the air - wonder if that's the reason it's on the flight path of Newcastle Airport. Sound like a good business proposition to have hot-air balloon flights.

Building a view point high enough to see all of it would be quite cool - probably a lot of steps but i think it would be worth it to see all of the figure.
I also think it would be a nice place to just sit and relax and forget anything negative which was affecting you at the time.

Maybe in a hundred years or so, a legend will be concerning the spiral paths around the figure, just like Glastonbury Tor.

If you have the time and brain capacity, it's a tough book, read 'the secret teachings of all ages' by Manly P Hall.

I think there's no doubt that free masonry was involved in the olympics.
