The wolf has been seen in the Auvergne, France, for the first time since the 1920's. Needless to say, there is some disagreement between Green activists over this as the area is sheep-rearing country.

Come on, brothers, not much further to go ! Find a way to cross the Channel to Britain !

This is news?

Heard about this for years to be fair, the wolves are also on the loose in Germany.

I think the news was the conflict inside the French Greens. The area is famous for Roquefort cheese made from ewes milk and sheep are a wolf's idea of a good snack.

There was a report earlier in the year or late last year that they had crossed into Germany. Originally, Italian wolves.

The wolves were deliberately introduced by the French Government, not without great controversy.
