Anthony Hopkins at his best,
Subtle, witty, poignant, endearing tale from Steven King, but far more subtle that much of his work.
Hearts in Atlantis
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0252501/
A 60's era no-tech sci-fantasy? drama with wonder,shadowed mystery and beauty.
He plays a mysterious retired fellow with psychic talent/wisdom and a shadowed past that's pursing him, who enters a boys life, and forever changes his reality.
A film with innuendo, subtle realistic magic, of a sort rarely made these days.
I finally rewatched it, and again loved it's gentle yet dramatic mystery, visual charm-beauty, and superb acting.
