I know how to calm down when it on it's way down, but can you stop the anxiety from rising in the 1st place?

I need to know how to stop it before hand and I do know that anxiety is a natural feeling which is there within us all, but it's going too hi.

Has anyone got any idears?

 Hey Goldentimes

Do you know what causes your anxiety? there has to be un underlying reason as to why you are getting them,
you need to look for triggers that cause you to have anxiety attacks and to avoid them if possible,
speaking to a councellor might benefit you.

Do you drink much caffeine? If you do, you might want to peruse this article,

Coffee-induced anxiety. (http://www.spiritualforums.com/vb/redir.php?link=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.spiritualforums.co m%2Fvb%2Fredir.php%3Flink%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww .spiritualforums.com%252Fvb%252Fredir.php%253Flink %253Dhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.spiritualforums. com%25252Fvb%25252Fredir.php%25253Flink%25253Dhttp %2525253A%2525252F%2525252Fwww.medicinenet.com%252 5252Fscript%2525252Fmain%2525252Fart.asp%2525253Fa rticlekey%2525253D50820)

Drink more coffee than you're accustomed to, however, and that same stimulant can cause the jitters. And in people predisposed to anxiety disorders, caffeine can trigger a spiral of sensations -- sweaty palms, a pounding heart, ringing in the ears -- that leads to a full-blown panic attack.

What makes some of us feel panic while others feel pleasantly alert? Susceptible people experience caffeine's effects as signs of impending doom. Once that happens, anxiety can take on a life of its own. While many give up coffee, others give up whatever they were doing when struck by caffeine's disturbing side effects. Someone who downs coffee at breakfast and then hops on the freeway to work, for example, may attribute feelings of panic to rush-hour traffic rather than to caffeine.

If not, well then just disregard this post lol.

I do know what is the cause of it, but I cannot walk away from it. I just worry about bad omens for the future which relate to my problem.
I need to stop my brain from thinking too much about the bad things and start thinking the good things, but I having problems in doing this. I feels that I need to stop thinking.

No I no longer drink anything that has caffeine in it; I do not drink coffee but I did drink coke, now I no longer do :)

Best Regards & Blessings!

To quote psychoslice from this (http://www.spiritualforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=38632) thread:

Try to realize that your thoughts are not you, there just thoughts, also see the negativity for what it is, again just thoughts, this realization will help to keep you in the Now, and not the so called future and the dead past, see your friends thoughts as the same, just thoughts, these thoughts can only harm you if you take them on for yourself, their thoughts become your thoughts and around and around it goes. Trying to make positive thoughts will not last either, because the positive thoughts when questioned will become negative thoughts, and around it goes again, so as i already said, see the thoughts for what they are, nothing but thoughts....they will in time melt away because you are not giving life to them no more.

Have you tried meditation as a way to relax and help calm or even still your mind? This may be a way forward for you.

Depending on how you feel about God, angels and spirit guides, you could also ask them to help take away your anxiety and negative thoughts.

You could also try visualising the anxiety rising within you as a ball of coloured energy. Whenever you feel it rising up, you imagine trying to push it down and out through your feet, into the ground and let the universe deal with it. Then you could imagine a loving and protective white light pouring down into your body, replacing and calming all that anxiety and negativity.

Try different things and see what works for you
