I posted under Native American because using white sage came from Native Americans lol.
Anyways, I just have 2 questions about it.
1) How regularly should you burn sage to clear your space?
2) Can you use White Sage incense cones instead of the natural white sage stick wands?
3) Can you use incense and just sage incense cones (Not white sage but just regular sage) for cleansing, aswell?
Thanks

I once asked how often to use white sage as well. I was told, "As often as you feel the need. Or after some sort of conflict or bad energy has entered the space."
White sage can also be used to cleanse people, including self-cleansing. Or at least, that is the advice I was given.
I'm not sure about the answers to your other questions...

LOL! I guess we do and we burn other things as well depending on what’s needed.

Basically you smudge as much as you want and where you need to. I do so twice daily morning and evening and always have, but if I need to at other times I do so then. You can smudge yourself, the space your in , things you work with or others if they agree.

There are some Native made incense sticks you can get for sage, sweet grass and cedar etc. Though personally I use the individual plants often with white sage as a base, I like most other Natives I know tend to make up our own herbal mix's of Smudge etc and burn this often for different things. Each mix is that of the person who makes it.

As for common sage yes I heard its used by some but I personally have never needed to use it.

Thanks for all the replies.
I understand the qualities and properties and how to use it, but can it be reused? I noticed that the bundled white sage takes a while to burn all of it. Can you put the flame out and use the rest of the bundle on another occasion?
Nevermind the questions the posted.. . I know the answers to them now .

Yes it can be re used, I just break of what I need put it in my smudge bowl and burn that. If I chose to burn the bundle then I burn whats needed and either let the bundle burn out or put it out. I dont burn a whole bundle at any one time unless its needed.

I use the sage bundles. After burning what I need, I put it out in container of salt. That's where it stays until I need it again. It actually looks kinda cool as well as being functional.
