How to know your family diety through ESP?

We in our tradition have a family diety that we believe protects and guides us, but for the last two generations there is no body in our family who continued this practice, how can we know who our family diety is? can ESP be used to find this.

Family deities are found in some ancient religious communities and in Hindus there are familial or communal deities and I do not know which religions you come of. Yes a family deity protects and guides when one is in troubles.

But unfortunately most migrants part with the traditional cultural setting they have been living for a millennium and to resort to the lost world of culture and deities you have to go through ancient books and return to the place of your origin, if not yours, your parents or grandparents' origin
