Why don't I...?

(I realize this is more than likely improperly posted, but I'm sure that can be easily remedied so I'm not too apprehensive of doing so anyways.)

Why don't, or can't, I see 'supernatural' things? I have never once experienced anything out of the ordinary, despite having a very open mind and true belief in what I cannot see.

I suppose this is somewhat philosophical because it does ask the question -- why are some gifted and some not?

Why can some play music and others not? Same thing. Either we got that spark of talent, or we don't.

On the other hand you might learn like me that in spite of neither being able to see or feel or sense anything psychic, you might still have SOME psychic talents. It is a matter of finding someone with the talents to see what you have. I still can't see or feel or sense anything, but now I am aware of many things I can do. And I know I can, because I get feedback almost daily from people who see the results.

Hm, interesting. Are there some people that simply CANNOT get in touch with the unseen world? Or do you not know?

Miss Willow... When you begin getting in touch with your own spirit in some ways, such as meditation, you may find yourself becoming aware in more subtle dimensions. Most people do.

In short I wondered the same thing years ago and then one day after practicing visualization techniques, I got my wish.
I saw a being from another dimension exactly as I wished I would..and I had a witness.

Now, years later do you know what this taught me? The power of the mind! The power of thought! I know now that we can experience anything and years later now I can see the proper use of that power. Not to create personal expereinces like what looks like beings from other dimensions, but rather to create a better world.

Yes that was my conclusion but more than that, I have come to appreciate the power of imagination.

I'm not sure how to harness it...yet. :smile:
I think it can serve us though.

But believe me when I tell you that what I imagined and saw 2 nights in a row was seen by my wife and I on the third night. And she knew nothing about it. So it was not in my mind only......it was seen with our eyes.
Actually the whole story is quite involved and very interesting.
When people talk about expereinces being the basis of what they believe, oneness experiences, meditation experiences, shamanic journey experiences, God experiences....I think to myself, that we can experience anything. Sometimes I say it out loud..lol

Ill have to check out that book as well, Humm, thanks. I have had my own experiences, as well as my daughter. My ex used to complain that he never has them, how come (example his dad visited me upon his death after I had given birth to my daughter and we both became ill, I could not attend the funeral...so he came to me)...plus I had dreams of him and he came to talk to me. My daughter had he and my MIL come visit and she felt and saw them and heard them. I've had other experiences that were far more incredible and amazing...I may have mentioned them before...but my point of the in laws was because my ex said they were HIS parents! why didn't they come to him?

I have a friend that cannot understand why he doesn't have experiences..but the thing is he DOES...but now he just dismisses them ...until he gets another...but one issue he has is that he wants answers to very specific things and gets nothing...but yet I get them... I don't know why one person does and the next doesnt.

As for perhaps being my imagination. No..lol, wow, no. Plus I have an analytical side to me that will analyze something to death.
