God or Goddess of dogs

Hey there

I know that Bast/et is the Goddess of cats (among other things) and she cares for them. Is there one in any pantheon that is connected to dogs?

Wouldn't that be Anubis?

I don't know. Although he is Jackel headed, I don't know if he is actually connected to looking after dogs. Cats were important to the Egyptians, hence Bastet, but I'm not up enough on their pantheon to know about dogs...
