Transcending Guilt, Self-Pity & Low Self Worth

This is an affirmation 'treatment' I came up with to help myself overcome fear, doubt, shame, worthlessness, etc associated with my childhood extreme religious beliefs. The goal is to read this a few times then meditate on it each day and visualize it being true.

I am a beautiful Child of God, a being of Light created by the Magnificent One. I and my Father are One. I am guided by my inner Truth and Highest Self and eagerly and joyfully make choices in alignment with my Highest Ideals. Fear, pity and ignorance are transformed into joy and awareness in this splendid creation. I AM perfect, my will is in alignment with the highest Good. I cheerfully perform sacred, selfless service and generosity to the Universe. Divine Love and Light flow through me and within me at all times. I am pure, I am Divine and I radiate goodness and Light to all.

Very nice. One issue you might want to tinker with is the use of negative-sentence structure, which affects the unconscious mind in a positive-sentence-structure way. Hence, words such as "fear, pity, ignorance" are heard by the unconscious mind as a request, and the Law of Attraction is a law of attraction, not a law of repulsion. Hence we get what we focus on, whether we want it or not. Seth (Jane Roberts) and Abraham Hicks talked about this aspect of affirmations in their writings.

On the other hand, your affirmations contain a lot of positive, beautiful language that is perfect for an affirmation and manifestation under the law of attraction, such as:

"I am a beautiful Child of God, a being of Light created by the Magnificent One. I and my Father are One. I am guided by my inner Truth and Highest Self and eagerly and joyfully make choices in alignment with my Highest Ideals. . . . [suggestion: "I am"] transformed into joy and awareness in this splendid creation. I AM perfect, my will is in alignment with the highest Good. I cheerfully perform sacred, selfless service and generosity to the Universe. Divine Love and Light flow through me and within me at all times. I am pure, I am Divine and I radiate goodness and Light to all."

One thing I've learned about making positive and affirmative statements is that 'I Am' statements are VERY powerful and your affirmation has several of these!
