i havent really looked into this anywhere else, so forgive my ignorance but i wondered is there a way in which we can give back to nature? it seems alot of practices take for the gain of the individual from nature but in what way do you show appreciation and give back? is it as simple as living and respecting nature, or is there rituals or spells etc which people perform as a way of appreciation to mother nature, The Lord and The Lady?

I think the best way to "give back" is simply to respect nature and our fellow creatures on the planet. For example, recycle, compost. Don't cut down a tree unless it's absolutely necessary. Make your yard habitat-friendly for wildlife - try to use as little chemicals as possible....I think all of those things show your respect and your thankfulness - trying to bring the Earth back to what it must have been before we started screwing it up!

All over the world, there are volunteer conservation groups caring for nature, the flora and fauna. I was in one such group, doing surveys of bridges, dry-stone walls, and the like. Leading guided walks for tourists, remaking footpaths. Organisations like the National Parks rely on volunteers.
Look around your local area and you will find them
