Maybe today you have smiled at a stranger and regarded that little smile "insignificant"...but even just "a smile", even just a little word of kindness, a little hug, or a little helping hand... can make a great deal of difference in the life of someone else, sometimes that can be all that was needed to make his/her day :smile: !

Nice thread Shalimar ~ Today I was shopping and the young lady behind the counter seemed to be fumbling a lot with everything. Probably not enough sleep from the holidays or something. I could tell she was trying her best to maintain, but quarters at one point went spilling all over the top of her register, etc. and she was trying to maintain serious dignity, lol, been there done that, and when she looked at me I smiled and when she gave me my change and receipt, I saw she had a genuine kind of 'thank you' smile.
