Sacred Geometry

Over the last 6 months or so, the image of a rotating torus has been appearing in my meditations, developing and changing in strange ways, including nesting tori.

It's appearing in my day to day life in different ways too that are probably too complicated or personal to make sense, but I do wonder why is this mathematical construct so important?

Anyone have a particar interest or understanding of sacred geometry? Why is this concept haunting me?

I know that Homer Simpson loves donuts, Earth's magnetic field is toroidal, and topologically (not the member, but you can probably get confirmation from him on this) the human body has the 'surface characteristics' of a torus.

It has also been speculated by some cosmologists that the universe itself is a torus (but we won't find this out for sure until the year 2012, lol - jk).

There may be many other interesting manifestations in nature.

I see a lot of geometry in meditation, during the hypogogic state and within dreams. It is worth looking into the symbolism of the particular shape you keep seeing.

Something just hit....I was wondering about black holes and "where does all that stuff go when it disappears?". Well , if a higher-dimensional torus-like
field funnels it around otherdimensionally, it could be taken out of our spacetime and redistributed somewhere else, or as a new universe. Just a thought.

Very reasonable thought & one that many others have too. Our scientists are now beginning to think in terms of dimensions. One thing they have figured out that I feel is right is that energy never disappears, but just changes form.
