Interested in Wicca!

I have been reading about Wicca and would like to hear about what Samhain means to you...you know...from real people, not a book!

It's a time to commune with and honor those who've passed on.

For me it marks the importance of those who have gone before me and the remembrance of the importance of the dark times of the year as well as the light.

At Samhain, the gate to the Underworld stands open and the spirits of the ancestors may be invoked for guidance. I know this to be true from experience. Also, Samhain is the beginning of Winter and the Celtic New Year Festival.
