Probably stands for something that has to do with infinity or immortality or something along those lines. It looks like it could be Hindi (East Indian) type of writing or symbols.

It also could possible be just a mirrored image from left to right. Maybe one of those little squiggles is a word?

8 IS my favorite number. Maybe thats why I found it there. Though it was also in a buddhism folder. I completely confused myself.

Now that would speak to me, if I know it is my number and I was drawn to it, I would contemplate as to the reason...are you going to get a tat? Is Buddhism special to you?

nightowl, yes i already have a couple tats, i really want something that relates to buddhism as believe in the teachings of it.

solace, this is a big possiblitly, i just done know what the bottom part would mean.

theophilus, i thought about doing that at first. I guess its worth a shot.

I FOUND IT!! it does mean the eightfold path. I also found one with the 4 noble truths. yay!

The 8 looks like a vertical lemniscate, the infinity symbol. The squiggles do not remind me of anything except snakes, lol. The dots are also symbolic of something.
