My name is Daniel Brown and I'm 12 years old, in my home there is a lot of negitive energy around us. And on my quest to become a wiccan it is really disturbing because i got a little brother that acts bad, which is the main reason for this and messes with me a lot. So what I'm really asking for is a few meditation techniques to help calm me down when this happens.

And for the future (since I haven't performed my dedacation ritual yet) When I perforom cirlces, is their any techniques beside meditation to help enhance my visual thoughts? And what are some books or links to other websites that will further my mind with the wiccan belief?

Lots of the threads in the forum will help with books, i enjoy Scott Cunninghams books. He gives alsorts of techniques for visulaisation and meditation.

In terms of your brother and family tension my best advise would be to just take yourself off to your bedroom close the door and medititate until you feel calmer. I have lived with a troublesome sibling and family tensions since i was your age until i was 18 when i left home and the only way i dealt with it is by taking a deep breath and being calm. When i meditated i imagine all their negative energies leaving the house and all the good energies coming in :) It didnt stop my sister being a horrible person but i felt it made me feel alot better and was calming.

I felt charm and relaxed after doing this meditation and five hours later when I were outside its was like that all the colours on the trees where more brighter and the sounds from the birds much more clear.
