Have I seen my guide?

Hi everyone,

Just a few questions if you don't mind?

I had an experience, actually a dream not too long ago and I'm wondering if this was my spirit guide. I am thinking maybe it wasn't because I wasn't really seeking a guide at the time.

I dreamed that there was a knock at my door and when I went to answer there were several people there in white clothing. They were all smaller than I and the gentleman who was in front had dark curly hair and large dark eyes. His gaze was very intense and we did not speak. I just stood aside and he walked in. There were other people in the house with me but he reached out and touched me. Everyone else in the room seemed frozen in place.

When he touched me I was suddenly in the darkness and soaring through the heavens. The air was cool and my stomach was doing those flip flops that you get when you ride a roller coaster. I had this soaring feeling, that's all I know to describe it. It was amazing. I could sense my oldest daughter somewhere off to the side of me. The stars were all around us.

We came back to the room all of a sudden and I don't remember the others being there. Just my daughter and I and either we were smaller or the room had gotten bigger while we were gone. The furniture was bigger. I don't think we were in exactly the same room we left. Similar but not the same. I know that I was so disappointed because I wanted the feeling that I was having to go on forever. Just as I woke up I heard a female voice call out my name.

Can you find a spirit guide when you are not really looking for one? Will one come without you consciously asking?. This has been the craziest two years of my life and I have had to really concentrate on staying grounded or I would have thought I was going crazy. Really glad to have found you all. Thanks for any help you can give.

I read some of the other threads and followed some of the links and discovered that I have been protectng myself without really knowing what I was doing, just doing it by instinct. I taught myself how to meditate, sort of doing what felt right.

Hi Charity and welcome to SF, glad you're here.

Yes we set up many different connections with non-physical beings prior to our incarnating here. Many of these connections are indeed our "guides" for periods in our lives. Some of them are specialists :wink: in that they'll tutor us in only one or two different things like getting out of body and then how to direct oneself around astrally and beyond. Others will come into our lives once we've reached certain levels and they then tutor or REmind us about other things and why we're here now. I think of many of them as my nonphysical spiritual helpers who give me many "Wake Up Calls"! :D :wink:

What you described sounds to me like these nonphysical beings/guides showed up to take you flying and more importantly....to remember it all. Things will just move at Lightspeed for you now I'd guess. Remeber that you asked these different nonphysicals from Home to help you wake up and remember many of the reasons why you incarnated on Earth during this very important time. Millions of people are currently having this same thing happen to them and this will continue and increase with each passing week and month. Great job and enjoy the ride. :smile:
