How to natural treat or cure PCOS

Okay so I'm on 1/2 a pill of metformin a night now and birth control pills haven't helped me except to get super-long cycles after use. What are some natural remedies to help?

BTW: I don't know if I'm fertile because I haven't actually tried to get pregnant or had an ultrasound of my ovaries. My doctor feels based on some medical problems I'm having that I have it.
