A little background, been feeling kind of bad emotionally lately, and this song came on the radio yesterday and it just filled me with happiness and joy (I know that sounds sappy). Since then I have been kind of using it as an audio happy pill.

I love this song so much!

Thought I would include the lyrics:

Three Dog Night -- Shambala

Wash away my troubles, wash away my pain
With the rain in Shambala
Wash away my sorrow, wash away my shame
With the rain in Shambala

Ahh ooh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Ahh ooh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Everyone is helpful, everyone is kind
On the road to Shambala
Everyone is lucky, everyone is so kind
On the road to Shambala

Ahh ooh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Ahh ooh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

How does your light shine, in the halls of Shambala?
How does your light shine, in the halls of Shambala?

I can tell my sister by the flowers in her eyes
On the road to Shambala
I can tell my brother by the flowers in his eyes
On the road to Shambala

Ahh ooh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Ahh ooh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

How does your light shine, in the halls of Shambala?
How does your light shine, in the halls of Shambala?
Tell me how does your light shine, in the halls of Shambala?
Tell me how does your light shine, in the halls of Shambala?

Ahh ooh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Ahh ooh, yeah, on the road to Shambala
Ahh ooh, yeah,Shambala, la
Ahh ooh, yeah, on the road to Shambala

Dancing in the Moonlight... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMc8naeeSS8)

This song always brings a smile to my face... reminds me of a time when I thought life could be this way... when I still had faith in peoples innate goodness... it brings back a nostalgic feeling for me...

We get it on most every night
When that old moon gets so big and bright
It's a supernatural delight
Everybody was dancin' in the moonlight

Everybody here is out of sight
They don't bark, and they don't bite
They keep things loose, they keep things light
Everybody was dancin' in the moonlight

Dancin' in the moonlight
Everybody's feelin' warm and right
It's such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancin' in the moonlight

We like our fun and we never fight
You can't dance and stay uptight
It's a supernatural delight
Everybody was dancin' in the moonlight

Dancin' in the moonlight
Everybody's feelin' warm and right
It's such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancin' in the moonlight

Everybody here is out of sight
They don't bark, and they don't bite
They keep things loose, they keep things light
Everybody was dancin' in the moonlight

Dancin' in the moonlight
Everybody's feelin' warm and right
It's such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancin' in the moonlight

Dancin' in the moonlight
Everybody's feelin' warm and right
It's such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancin' in the moonlight

Dancin' in the moonlight
Everybody's feelin' warm and right
It's such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancin' in the moonlight

Oh yeah, there is an innocent childlike wonder and joy about both of those songs, I really do like them, too.

Not to mention the musicians' incredible talents shine through very much so.

I have this weird like of Three Dog Night, even though I am not usually a fan of that genre.

Mama Told Me (Not to Come) is another song of theirs that is hilarious to me for some reason.

They are very unique and have a warm southern charm.

One of my favorites is Pieces of April. Oops or is the Doobie Bros. (?)
