Precious moment

I speak to my autistic son twice a week on the phone when he's with his dad. He doesn't have much speech and until now has shown little interest in my calls. But today when my ex's girlfriend answered the phone I heard my son say "Mummy" in the background, then he got on the phone and said "Mummy" again! It showed me he is starting to appreciate and respond to my calls. He is nearly ten but severely autistic so this means so much.

Just wanted to share how much this love and connection means. :hug3:
