I had this dream a month or two ago. In it, I was with a girl I knew in high-school, and in the dream I felt this really weird feeling. It's really hard to describe, but when she touched me or came near me or smoething it felt like a feeling I've had before, but that I haven't felt in a very long time. I can't really describe the feeling; the closest I can come with words is an overwhelming love, or a feeling of innocence, or of being loved. I just can't describe it; in fact, I can't fully remember what the feeling feels like haha. I just know that it was overpowering. When I woke up from the dream, the feeling lingered for the rest of the day.

Recently, I've had some sort of desperate craving to get back to that feeling. Either it's a feeling that I used to have when I was younger (in high school) that I'm just now cut off from for some reason, or there's some other explanation. I really don't know.

Anyways, I'm just throwing that out there, it's been something I've been thinking about lately. Let me know what you think!

Wow, the whole day?! Sigh.
I can hang onto a loving dream for maybe an hour with alot of effort.
Ah, the purity of love in a dream...

When I woke up it was still very, very strong; almost as strong as it was in the dream. Throughout the day I still felt it, but it gradually got less and less noticeable. Does it have some sort of significance?

Well, love and feeling love is always significant, right?
In that simple dream state to feel such pure love I think, for me, reminds me what my course is, who I am, what is realiity, what the Goal is ---this pure love.

That's me. I say thank you for showing me what is important, Lord.

Alex... I'm glad to hear you know you want to have the feeling, rather than thinking about the girl of your dream as many people do.

Love like this is within us and we can come to experience it through meditating in the inner heart.

Here's a practice for that: Inner Heart - http://www.spiritualforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=3695 (http://www.spiritualforums.com/vb/redir.php?link=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.spiritualforums.co m%2Fvb%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D3695)

Here's another: Transforming Heart Meditation - http://www.spiritualforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=3685 (http://www.spiritualforums.com/vb/redir.php?link=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.spiritualforums.co m%2Fvb%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D3685)
