Hi There,

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a good list of the following as i am looking at starting to make my own creams, salts, oils, candles and such...

gemstones - their meanings and properties
herbs and plants - their meanings and properties
oils - their meanings and properties

any info would be great thanks :)

I think you may want to start looking for thise questions, but in different cultures. They all have different interpretations ont hese. Even in terms of Wicca.

Here is something to give you a start. It's a Herbal dating from the 30's, so contains herbs that are maybe no longer in general use

Oils - look for books from the Tisserand Institute

Gemstones - probably the easiest to find, lots of choice. e.g. http://crystal-cure.com/gem-healing.html
