Remember the white noise ghost calls?

I haven't experienced these on my cellphone.

They are a common occurence on dial phones.
Are there any theories on this besides bad connections or internet calls?

I don't know, it would be hard to say...but if the theory is true that spirits use electronic device to try and communicate, well couldn't it happen on a cell phone as well, they do have a battery?

Calls could perhaps travel through time and sound all distorted to whoever picks up the call. Imagine getting a call from another year.
