I saw a fairy.

who here has seen a fairy in real life? I saw one last night in my bedroom. She was almost the size of a barbie doll, she had a red dress on, dark hair and small pupils. i tried waking my husband up but as soon as he did she turned into this purple speck and disappeared in thin air.


i am still in shock and almost don't believe myself.

Thank you! I wouldn't have doubted that they were real, but it is different seeing one right by your bedside. How do they get into people's homes? I've heard of people seeing them near fairy mounds, esp in Europe. I am just amazed that I got to see one in real life.


How many fairies have you seen chadley? I am wondering if this will be my only experience with fairies.

She was beautiful. I was in shock though to be honest. Earthbound spirits, family visiting me from the other side and other such paranormal events really don't bother me a whole lot, but the thought of fairies is just amazing.

I know people I tell will have a hard time believing me, but I know what I saw!

I haven't seen them with my naked eye, but I see them an awful lot in meditation! The Faerie Queen in particular.... in fact, I was told I was more or less "one of them" when I was meditating at my development circle once! The circleleader also confirmed he'd seen them around me, too.

One night, I was having one of those restless half awake, half asleep nights, with a voice constantly talking to me in the background. I tried really hard to tune in properly & see what it was saying, when I heard this: "And the moon goddess gave birth to the faerie queen, Honora".

I was amazed, and learnt as much about the faerie realm as I could, as I wasn't even sure I believed in them at that point. I do now....lol!

wow! I've heard various names given to the fairy queen. I know alot reffer her as Lilith, and I've read a few other names. I wonder if different cultures have adopted different names for her.

Feoh, it is really not surprising that fairies show up in your room. Nature is teaming with them just as this universe is teaming with life. The very first one I saw was in my room. If you want to see a bunch of them, go out in nature at night, sit in meditation with direct intention on opening your perception to these beings. If you can raise your consciousness high enough, You might be surprised at how many you see among other things. Have fun!

Very cool feogoddess. It's always exciting when these type of things, these type of meetings or bleedthroughs happen, and we physically see. I've studied Astrology for 32 years now and I've noticed that if someone's going to experience what you and others have, it's usually with the Elemental group or groups that they themselves have more of. This is represented by their natal (birth) charts and how much of what element they have and where it is etc.

What I mean is that if you're a lot of Water (in your Natal/birth Chart) then you're more likely to see and/or interact with the Water Elementals. Same with Air, Fire or Earth. We contain those same elements in ourselves and due to the energetic similarity, we'll vibrate more to certain Elemental groups than to others.

Many years ago I was outside hanging laundry in a small field filled with tall dry grass and weeds. The area where I was hanging the laundry was cleared, but the rest was about 3 feet tall with this dry summer weeds or whatever it was. I heard the dry grass rustling and looked up to see the tops of the weeds moving like a dog or cat was walking through it. I keep hanging laundry and watching the moving weeds and waiting to see a cat come walking out into the clearing where I was.

What walked out into that clearing about 10 feet or so infront of me was not an animal however! It was an Earth Elemental. A little male 'Gnome' I guess you'd call it. It was about 2.5 feet tall and wore dark brown pants, black leather looking boots folded over at the top, a dirty off-white long sleeved shirt, dark brick-red vest that had little animal bones sewn onto it and other small things I didn't recognize, and a large pointed old dirty hat.

He had long dark hair that was graying and a long beard. The thing that struck me the most was that he looked like he was caked in dry mud and powdery dirt. He was filthy but in that typical earthy way. It also seemed to me that his clothes and hat were sort of permanent, like an animals fur or coat. He was literally earth-earthy.

When he walked out into the open area of this little field, he saw my feet first and his head flew up to look me in the eyes. I swear, we were both as shocked to be seeing each other! He didn't telepath anything to me, we just each stood there staring at each other for a good half a minute. I never took my eyes off of him and after that half a minute or so, he simply dematerialized infront of my eyes. He went back Home I'd guess.

I'm a Capricorn which is an Earth Sign. I have a Water Sign "Rising" and I've also had a face-to-face encounter with a Water Elemental at the ocean once. I've also seen Air Elementals often too but not in as much detail as you described feogoddess.

i love the fact that in iceland they built a road around a mountain when they could have tunneled through it...in respect to the elementals.

a huge majority of icelanders in a poll a few years ago, declared they didn't believe in God but, they do believe in elves etc.

I watched some program on TV awhile ago, sounds like the same one you're talking about, and I too thought how cool is that?! I enjoy those countries, cultures, peoples who still carry the ancient Goddess consciousness. I remember the first time I'd ever heard that most, if not all, of the Native Americian tribes have always believed/remembered that they came from different Star systems! That's why, I feel, so many of us have had past lives in the different Goddess cultures like the NA's and so many others.

My pleasure. Isn't it great when our consciousness expands and we actually start to know how small a reality we'd lived in before?! The so-called "Myths" aren't myths at all but stories about Beings that existed/exist at slightly different levels or dimensions. The Elemental groups exist (IMO) in 2D the 2nd dimension. I have this weird memory that I trust even though it's pretty strange. It's of a male "Giant" walking up from behind some small foothills. He straddled them like we would straddle a 4 foot tall fence! He was that big.

I understand that you (and we all do it) want to give the credit to the "Fairy" that you saw but it usually goes the other way around. When we start seeing any of the Elementals (or many of the other wonderful beings out there) it usually indicates that YOU have grown/expanded to the point where you can now perceive more than you did before. These Beings and many Others have always been right there, all around us, but it's us that are regaining the abilities to "see" and "hear" and sense etc. etc. The Goddess Returning.......:wink: It's about parts of our brains, our beliefs, our deep inner ancient Selves.

So, give yourself some credit OK because you couldn't have seen or preceived her or other things if you weren't ready to do so. Let the Party begin. :D

You folks in the UK should know all the different names of the different Elementals I'd think. Does anyone have a good list of names for each of the 4 Elemental Groups? I'm light on a couple groups.

Water Elementals would be the Merpeople, Mermaids, Mermen, Undiens, water Nymphs etc.

Earth Elementals would be the Gnomes, Fauns, Brownies, Elves and Earth Fairies.

AIR Elementals would be Air Fairies, Sylphs, Elves and...?

FIRE Elementals would be Salamanders and...?

Thanks for those links and information Jaycee. When I have more time I'll have to do a 'search' for Fire Elementals and see what I find. I've seen both Fire and Air Elementals but nothing like what I've seen with the Water and Earth ones. The astrological elements we each have ourselves like I mentioned. When I've seen Fire Elementals it was while watching a candle flame and also a fire in a fireplace. These shapes of Fire Elementals are in the fire and sometimes I can see them move, dance, twist and reshape the actual flames into other shapes and symbols etc. It's very beautiful and mesmerizing like all the Elementals seem to effect us. It's like looking at just one of these Elemental groups is such an imbalance for us, that we start getting weird or 'intoxicated'. Can be both fun and a bit scary because some of Them want you to go 'play' with them. :wink:

Feohgoddess, You are LUCKY!! Usually elementals are so shy that they don't often appear. The last time I saw an elemental--he was a fairy elf--appeared to me in Spring over a year ago. He was about 3 feet tall, squatting on the side of my bed, watching me wake up. I know he was there to help me with issues with my Mom. But I was so startled to see him that I shrieked. I didn't mean too--it just came out. And then he was gone. I asked him to come back, but he never did.

Elementals are showing up more and more to humans because they want to partner with us in helping the Earth. They live in the 4th dimension--that's why they are so easily accessible to us. You might check out the book "My Summer with the Leprechauns." Very interesting.

Wow! I must thank everyone for their responses. Everyone's information was very helpful and informative! I appreciate it a great deal. I am humbly greatful that I was able to see an element. I wish I knew how to draw, so I could draw her. I've tried, but I just can't.

And something great has come out of this all as well. My spouse, isn't as spiritual as I am, which is ok since we all have different times to where we start our spiritual path conciouslly I believe, but he has been more and more interested in the things I read about, and hasn't even critisized Sylvia Browne ( I watch her every wednesday). He seems more and more interested in the supernatural world, along with the paranormal. Don't get me wrong, he has always believed in my gifts, it just seems now he's taking a grasp for himself, which I am happy for him.

an old friend pointed it out to me in her home...asked me if i could see the purple speckles around her chandlier and i could....there was probably 50 or something...and she told me it is fairies.

a couple weeks later i saw my cat playing with purple speckles in my home and chasing them around having a lot of playful fun and i picked up on it to be fairies.

but this is a first that i've heard of someone seeing an actual fairy turning into a purple speckle!

i too have see a fairy outside my patio door doing a healing on one of my plants. we shocked eachother!
the fairy didn't see me at first so i got to see it at work... then it saw me... flew up above my plant and then gave me a frown (probably because i was smoking a cigarette... ) and then it flew away.

it's the only one i've seen with my eyes... but i have telepathic communication with many fairies and feel them around and where they are ect...

some make sounds for me. and the house i just moved out of is like a fairy ground.

i still from time to time see the purple speckles ect.... and on an occasion see my cat playing with something and chasing them to the window ect... :smile:

mmmm perhaps just give it a lot of love ect and ask the universe for the highest good of all concerned to help heal your plant. maybe a being will help. and energised water ect.

i'm not a plant goddess... lol... was one of the reasons i was so bummed when my plant was dying because it lived for me!!! i moved and brought it in m back back on the plane and the elements wore it down when we got home ect.

i was just in complete awe and amazed of the speedy recovery ect that fairy performed... it was like a miracle! and how much it grew was amazing in that week.

but not all plants are meant to have very long lives...they might want (be eager to) to reincarnate as a bug or something...lol.

They reakon putting healing crystals around the base of plants helps plants to heal and grow. Perhaps send out a healing intention as well. Could be worth a go:)

I put crystals, shells, little statues etc. around my indoor and outdoor potted plants and they all seem to do beautifully well!! And you could try some hands on healing just out from the plant's leaves and root system, and peaceful, relaxing music helps too. They're just like us really.

I believe in fairies, they are of course earth angels come to help us, if you believe you see. I sit staring and watching my lavender bush in summer, its alive with tiny white star like flashes, I also leave things out for fairies, before I moved house we had a special fairy garden with minature everything. One thing I should say, when picking flowers from your garden please ask first, they dont belong to us they belong to the fey
