Kinda Urgent: Somethings imposing my friend on steam trying to convince me its him.

if you're meant to know what this event is all about, you'll find out.
if it's just an annoyance that has no particular meaning for you -- let it slide.
[i don't sense an "urgency" about it... i could be wrong though... check that

Well the good news is, its gone now. I contacted my "real" friend. and after its little magic trick had crumbled it began panicking and teleporting everywhere, my friends house, my mom's house, my dad's house. in an attempt to hide. before it just disappeared. but. *** was that. it was really wierd. and funny in the end.
my real friend got on steam and it was trying to impose as me after having failed to impose as him. so I typed in chat
"you will NOT fool us with that imposing" but my friend recieved it as "you will fool us with that imposing"
I can't describe how wierd it was. im simply left without words

weird, yes.
whatever energy source was responsible doesn't appear to have
been fully dealt with (it may reappear in another guise). my feeling
is that it's not truly malicious in nature... maybe confused?
there's an interesting error in your post...
the word imposing means: grand and impressive in appearance.
i think you'd meant to use "imposture", or something similar.
